7 x color slides found in Pia Arke’s archive documenting seven photo montage sketches produced in accordance with the same principle as used in Krabbe/ Jensen (1997). In them, Arke appropriates and juxtaposes photographs taken by Th. N. Krabbe in Ammassalik/ Tasiilaq, Godthaab/Nuuk, Umanak, and Thule, in 1895 and 1906-09, with photographs appropriated from Danish telegraphist Sven Lund Jensen’s photo album with b/w photographs taken during his 1946-47 travel to and stay in Scoresbysund/ Ittoqqortoormiit, and/or with own photographic works, dimensions unknown
